A letter to myself.

You came a long way to reach this day. From now on, make your everyday count and retain today’s energy for the rest of the days. Whenever you feel deprived or less energetic, think about today and borrow some zeal from the past to move forward. You are being blessed until you can edit this letter and read it yourself.

Your next move should be to work on yourself, leaving the colors of identity behind you. Your identity is versatile. It is not restricted to the shades RBG or CYMK lanyard you wear every morning. Your identity should be your name only. Your work should become more meaningful than the place of work itself. Your people should be someone other than the ones who follow your instructions. Your capital should only be the social capital, and your investment should always be in yourself. Go and find your identity, the one who can impact society and doesn’t need any attested documents. Your identity would be niche and limited to you only; once you find that philosopher’s stone, use that energy for the people to glitter. Enlighten your people, ignite their fire, and make them contagious. “Bask in your strength. Bask in your willpower to be better. Because you are a warrior and you are built to win” (Dr Selina Neri, 2022)*.

Each spark must drive you to the next level, and you should always drive yourself and never be driven away by some authority. Don’t seek instruction, but embrace guidance. Moving forward is not always the measure of success; the real challenge is holding yourself against the odds. Success is analog and non-linear. The real challenge is to sustain it and embrace the change. Stay resilient when someone tries to knock you down, be conscious when you decide to move forward against all odds, and stay curious during the Inquisition. Do not trade off your resilience, consciousness, and curiosity to move forward. Sometimes, pulling yourself back gives you more energy to take a leap of faith.

In your journey of progress, remember the golden rule of your emotional, physical, and mental well-being: Do not compare with people, and do not expect from people. You will find many submissive, successful professionals who have achieved significant career positions but at the cost of their creativity. As you move forward, you will also encounter numerous odds carrying big wigs, lots of megalomania hiding in cubicles, and a few extraordinary people driving change without any authority or title.

If you ever need guidance, don’t look for the most significant room on the corporate floor. Indulge yourself among people, and seek advice from the unknown extraordinary people. Don’t lean towards authority; invest in yourself, build your social capital, and in challenging times, open the envelope and edit this letter again. This letter is better than yesterday, and tomorrow is when you will write the best letter to yourself.

Behold. Life is an endurance of continuous change, and you have to be steady on your non-bargainable principle and be flexible on your agile skill set. Bask your skills and always keep your grip on the principles of resilience, consciousness, and curiosity under any circumstances.

Stay humble; do not indulge yourself in reaching the leaves at the top of a tree, which changes every autumn. Stay at the core; that is where lives get around that tree.

Happy reset!!!
